Stories of Debbie: The Icing on the Snackcake

The things I write are very personal, and are mostly for my own need to process feelings, whether it be joy, pain, grief etc. I initially posted a few things here to share with friends and family, but sometimes invite others to read.

If you happen to be someone who does not know me: I love kitties, but have also had dogs as fur babies. My babies go where I go. Some have lived in more countries than most humans usually do. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer many years ago. It was one of the most challenging experiences in my life, but also incredibly rewarding and one of the best decisions I have ever made. Perhaps I will add some photos… Van Halen influenced my life in ways I didn’t realize. I mostly listen to rock and metal, but often explore other genres. I usually don’t announce my preference in music because it always seems to prompt some dude to challenge my knowledge. That game got old in the 80s. Also…hiking. I love to hike.
